About Katherine Kitt
Where did you study? Which uni?
Robert Gordon University, Scotland.
When did you graduate?
2019.
What are your degrees?
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy.
Why did you become a physio?
I love learning and helping people achieve their goals- being a physio allows me to do both every day!
What do you enjoy treating the most?
I enjoy working with anyone committed to their rehab. I also find neurological conditions fascinating.
If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation- so I wouldn’t lose two days flying to visit my family in Scotland.
What is your worst or most embarrassing injury? How did it happen?
I partially tore my hamstring performing an ‘illusion’ as a baton twirler during an international competition. Please don’t ask me to demonstrate- I’d absolutely injure myself again!
What is the one thing you say most to your patients?
Move because you can, not because you have to.
If stuck on a desert island, what would be your three things?
A water filter, shelter, and an unlimited supply of ice cream.
If not at work, where might we find you?
In the gym, on an adventure, or snacking.
Favourite holiday destination?
New Zealand- it’s like Scotland but with better weather.
Tea or coffee?
Coffee wins, but a cup of tea and a biccy is a close second.
What would you like your patients to know before they come to see you?
My accent isn’t too strong, I promise you’ll understand me!
Cats or dogs?
Dogs.
Why Arana Hills Physio?
The full support to be the physio I’ve always wanted to be!
Are you an organised traveller or a last-minute packer?
I’m becoming more of a last-minute packer the more I travel.
If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Louis Theroux and David Attenborough- I’d love to learn about the quirks of humans and animals from both.
